This is an experiment. I have never blogged and have only read or even viewed a few. This spot is intended to be more about how pottery influences our lives than about issues, stands or even opinions. I am certain that we will fail at this upon occasion. Mary and I love pottery but are often sidetracked by the influences of work, family and church. But we always return to pottery and the centering influence that it exerts on our lives. I am certain that I will occasionally share the articles that I write for our church bulletin. These are apologetically and intentionally Jesus-centric. We believe that the most comfortable place for all people is a place in which they honor God and lift up Jesus. However we also believe that God is a gentleman and that He never forces anyone to follow Him and loves us all the same regardless of our religious or political views. We are also certain that it grieves Him deeply when we allow our views and beliefs to cause us to disrespect, belittle, berate, marginalize or even hate one another.
In the mean time Mary and I just want to make a few nice pots for friends to share. Be in peace.
